Spice up your Italian Night!
What you need: Sauce pan, wooden spoon, pot, strainer, knife, food processor or blenderIngredients:
1 package (16oz) of Wheat Spaghetti or Penne pasta
1 Can (28oz) Organic Italian Style or Fire Roasted Tomatoes
2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
2 Cloves of Garlic minced
1 Teaspoon crushed Red Pepper Flakes
2 Tablespoons Fresh Parsley Chopped
1 Tablespoon Tomato Paste
Directions:
Cook pasta and drain as directed.
Poor Tomatoes and juice into food processor or blender mix until coarsely chopped.
In Saucepan heat oil over medium heat. Caramelize garlic then add red peppers and parsley. Be careful the red pepper flakes burn quickly! Stir in tomatoes and tomato paste. Heat to a boiling then reduce heat, cover and let simmer for 10 minutes until slightly thickened. Add noodles and mix till sauce noodles are coated evenly.
